The Liberty Wreck without any doubt is the most famous dive site in Bali.
It lays in the shallows of Tulamben Bay and is easily accessible from the shore.
It has a total length of more than 100 meters, broken and with few parts of the ship apart. We can find its bow section in only 4 meters of water while its stern is reaching the depths of 28 meters.
Now it is completely covered with soft and hard corals. Many kinds of sponges and gorgonias grow on its sides. The most interesting to see is a big school of jacks that can be found around the wreck.

Fish life here is very good. We can see many schooling fishes like sweet lips , batfish , unicorfish. A lonely barracuda, few groupers and huge morays, plus some interesting macro life that can also be found around the wreck.
It is said to be the safest wreck in the world, making it a great spot for all levels of divers as well as a great night dive on which you can see amazing night life of Bali waters. It is a heaven for photographers.
